Black Pearl the blues-rock Heritage band featuring Detroit vocalist Marcus Malone, Finnish guitarist Muddy Manninen and lyricist Pete Feenstra announce a new single called “Take Your Time”
Take Your Time’ features Marcus Malone (Motorcity Hustlers/Malone Sibun/ Motown artist & European Blues Awards nominee) on vocals; guitarist Muddy Manninen (14 years with Wishbone Ash / Gringos Locos/Hipkiss) & Tomi Malm, Finnish producer, arranger, and composer on keyboards and drums. He also mixed the song at Xenoble Studios, Helsinki.
Lyrics are by songwriter Pete Feenstra who says of the song;
“I specifically wrote this with a combination of Marcus’s soulful vocals and Muddy’s dreamy guitar parts in mind.
The idea was for the music to evoke a feeling of time and space, where everything eventually will fully reveal itself.
Tomi’s rhythmic architecture and mix was the icing on the cake.”
